In 2016, 730 employees logistics business DB Schenker moved into the company's new administration building known as 'The Grid' near the main railway station in Essen. The logistics specialists at DB Schenker organise their worldwide logistics network from this exciting new facility. The new building replaced eight other company sites, previously spread across the whole district and incorporating seven sectors of the business and 40 specialist departments.
