The Buntweberei in Eislingen, was once the site of a textile company, and had been derelict for decades. A new 100,000 sq. mtr. quarter was developed, housing offices, restaurants, hotels and leisure facilities was opened in 2022.

The Buntweberei is home to the headquarters of Salvia Gebäudetechnik, whose owner Filippo Salvia was the driving force behind the development.
